TCA Peel

TCA Peel is a medium strength peel using Trichloracetic Acid.  Stronger than the glycolic acids and the Jessner's Peel this agent penetrates deeper into the skin to destroy and remove the outer layers of skin.  Taking less than one hour, this procedure is used for early skin wrinkling, acne scarring, age spots, uneven skin pigmentation and moderate sun damage.  Areas that this peel can be applied to are the face, neck, hands, chest, back and forearms.

Following the procedure, a slight burning sensation can be noticed.  Minimal swelling, scabbing and crusting can also be expected.  Facial peeling is expected to occur approximately one week following the application.  This procedure requires a short recovery time of about one week.

The results of this process is that your new skin will feel tight, appear clear and more youthful.  TCA Peels can provide dramatically improved skin appearance similar to that achieved with the deeper peeling agents but with a significantly shorter recovery time.
