Botox treatment uses a purified protein derived from Clostridium botulinum bacterium.  This purified protein, when injected into the skin, reduces muscle activity and causes the skin to relax.  This relaxation in turn reduces wrinkles and lines between the eyebrow.  Botox treatments are nonsurgical and require no recovery time.  Patients aged 18-65 are eligible for the 10 minute treatment process.  Results are temporary and subject to variability.  Many individuals retain the benefits of treatment for up to 4 months.
